What does this mean in your daily work: Carrying out preventive and curative maintenance in the mechanical and electrical field on the mechanized tools and auxiliary equipment and on workshop equipment, in accordance with directions and instructions from the manager, in such a way that they are available as quickly as possible and in the correct technical condition. • performing periodic inspections, assessing the technical condition of the equipment and performing maintenance resulting from inspections; • remedying malfunctions on tools. Determining the causes of malfunctions, assessing the nature and extent of the repairs to be performed, determining the desired time of repair in consultation with the supervisor and machine operator and, if necessary, carrying out emergency repairs on the instructions of the supervisor; • testing overhauled/repaired machines/equipment; • making proposals for adjustments/improvements to tools and auxiliary equipment.
